Using varying thicknesses to 'draw a line', manipulated with pliers, and adding general domestic fabric, copper and plastic scraps for details, her work collection is in private collections and on permanent display at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital.
Commissioned in 2017 for a private client, this assemblage features many witty 3D details made with tin, plastics, paper and painted modelling clay.
Set against a background collage of an Ordnance Survey map, and with a central framework of a silver ladder, this unique piece is now a centrepiece in a home.
The ladder is made from dried, twisted hazel (sprayed silver), and the rungs are fashioned form HB pencils - this detail was devised in conversation with the clients, as their profession included TV Aerial maintenance around Norfolk, therefore a ladder was a key component of their working lives.
