These permanent artworks gave the Surestart Centres a strong visual identity upon entry, and were a positive experience for the participants.
Working with very young children, their parents and carers, Jessica Perry co-ordinated an open workshop at tge Centre, guiding all particpants to paint and collage a hankerchief-size cotton square.
After the day, Jessica then assemble all the squares as a colourful patchwork, including decorative frayed edging and sewn-on buttons as decoration.
